Heya peeps!

I´ve moved back home to Töjby now, since there´s no more school *Thank God!* 

At the moment I´m working on some posters with prizes and opening hours for the ice cream stand. Tomorrow at 1pm we´ll open! I´d welcome you all to come, but... Well, you don´t exactly live around the corner from Töjby, do you? ;)

Yesterday we sorted everything out there and later in the evening we invited a few "guinea pigs" so that we could test how to make the scoops of ice cream. It´s recommended that one scoop has the weight of 100g - not the easiest thing to do, I may tell you! One of the "guinea pigs" was Wilma, my cousins´s daughter who´s nearly 2. She´s so cute and so hilarious! She was charming the hell out of the rest of us, heh!

I´m also listening to the brand new (released in late March) with H.E.A.T.. It´s awesome! Much thanks to their new singer Erik Grönwall. The other lads in the band made the right decision choosing him as their lead singer :) 

Erik has truly found his right element in the band, he has one of the best rock voices I know and I´m so happy that I´ve had the opportunity to see him 3+1 times live =) 

The 3rd time I saw him was actually his last gig as a solo artist, it was in Vaasa and it was awesome! =) The 4th time was at a pub in central Vaasa (Erik "invited" us, why would we say no?) and that was awesome as well - even if the man of the hour was intoxicated *hihi*

All right, I´ll continue working on the posters and then I´ll go down to the supermarket and sort out more stuff in the ice cream stand.

I wanna show you something awesome. We (myself, Ammi and Angie) are planning to make something special for the Croke Park concert and so far we´ve come up with this:

It looks good, huh? I found the original imagine on Facebook and then I simply changed the colours to our homelands´ flags (Sweden and Finland, that is) + painted the Irish flag in the heart. Under the photo, we will also have a lyric of some sort, from a Westlife song of course :) It´s rather hard to come up with one, since there are so many awesome songs out there.

Here are a few ideas we´ve come up with:

Besides the printing with the picture and lyric line, we´ll also make another one. Now, everyone doesn´t get this joke, you could call it an inside joke between me and Angie but anyways... ;-) It looks like this:

We absolutly loved this week´s episode, didn´t we? Talking about a sob-sob one and I have a feeling that the episodes that are left, will be the same... The songs in the episode were dedicated 100% to Whitney Houston. It was awesome!

I should´ve done something alike to J, if I at all was a great singer, which I´m not. However, he got what he deserved in the end *muahaha*

To be honest, I was getting so worried that they would break Klaine up, but luckily they didn´t! That can never happen, never ever never! Klaine 4-ever!





Tomorrow I can finally move back home, since we won´t have any more school. So now I can finally start working and earn some money. You know I´ll be needing it, with the trip coming up + rent and other expenses... Because this year sure hasn´t been going my way when it comes to studies *sigh* Ah well, we´ll turn a new page until the autumn comes! I still don´t know where I´ll be by then; if I´ll still be here in Vaasa or maybe I´ve moved to Sweden, who knows?
Only time will tell...

I´m trying my best to wake up at the moment... As you may know, I´m not a morning person, not at all. Why am I up at this early hour, you ask? We´re going on a shopping spree (mainly for the supermarket) by bus, which leaves at 6.30 a.m. Could you guess where I´m going?

This Thursday me and cous J sat and hoped that we wouldn´t get any more snow. Well WTF?!, the weather Gods decided to piss us off and yesterday it poured down. Poured! So as you can imagine, it was not at all fun driving home from Vaasa yesterday night. It was awful and I feared that the snow slush (the roads were in horrible condition) would pull my car down and have me go off the road... Luckily that didn´t happen but it was close a few times.

If I had been able to decide myself, I´d wated until today with going home but G had left bags of clothes, which he needed this morning today. So basically I had to rush home because of that. Annoyed the hell out of me but... Ah well.

What about the movie? Loved it! It was just as great as the first time I saw it at the cinema 15 years ago. Leo & Kate still rocked it! I even started to sob a bit, at the end with the water scenes... It is and will always be one of the greatest movies ever made.

Speaking of great couples! I totally agree with what Rose said to Jeremy in the car.

I´m sitting in my comfy chair multi-tasking at the moment. I´ll finish up here and then I´ll fix something to eat, I made extra yesterday so I only have to pop it in the microwave. Later tonight at 5.30pm I´ll meet  Ammi outside the cinema and we´ll finally be able to see Titanic. Let´s hope it´s showing tonight! ;-)

Heya peeps!

How are you doing this Thursday night? I´m good myself. Earlier tonight my cous Jenny came for a visit, she´s never been to my flat. It was nice, we see each other way too little! Before she left we went to see broidi, so that she also could see his flat. On Saturday we´re going to Nämpnäs (home of cous J) as cous Maria has her examination party. She´s officially a... Mathematic now, or whatever her job title is *hehe*

Today I went shopping. I found two very nice tops on KappAhl and at another supermarket I bought a top where I printed on something myself. See photo below. Some of you, who know your stuff, will know where I´ve taken it ;) There might be a hint somewhere as well..

The two tops I bought at KappAhl looks like this: 

I´m bringing them to Dublin, so now I have atleast two brand new items to wear. Besides these 2 tops, I also bought 2 pair of earrings, whereas one will be a birthday gift.

Tomorrow me and Ammi are probably going to the movies to watch Titanic *finally* and then I´m going straight home. I might go into town a while before the movie starts, so that I have time to visit different shops. I´m really keen on buying this bracelet from Cubus, as I find it to be gorgeous!

G´day!

It´s so depressing looking outside right now. Do you know why? It´s snowing! It´s in the middle of bloody April, why do we get snow!

Yesterday me and Ammi were supposed to go to the movies to watch Titanic in 3D. We walked into town, ate Chinese food and looked for tops/shirts suitable for making a print on until the Croke concert.

However, when we came to the cinema and were about to buy the tickets, we found out that Titanic wasn´t showing that night, it would return on Friday. Talk about bummer!

I will make myself something to eat now and then I´ll go to the post office to pick some package up and I´ll go by the supermarket on the same time.

All right... This is a very difficult and serious entry.

I´m watching TV at the moment, where they´re broadcasting the trial in Oslo, Norway against the massmurdered Anders Behring Breivik. I don´t know why I´m watching it, it´s quite... hard - but I was curious and here I am.

I feel nothing what so ever for the man. He has shown no feelings what so ever - until they showed a video he´d made and uploaded on YouTube and he started weeping! He didn´t show any feelings what so ever, no remorse at all when the names of the youngsters he killed on Utøya on 22 July 2011...  but he cried for a video. That gives you an idea of how... fucked up he is.

Since Finland has suffered from two school shootings, I have a pretty good idea of what the Norwegian people must be going through or have went through, at least. I realize that the school shootings cannot be compared to the acts of terrorism that took place in Oslo last year... However, I can relate to the mixed emotions one felt after finding out and maybe what Norwegians feel today when the trial has started today.

Especially when the second school shooting happened in Kauhajoki, I was beyond shocked and it didn´t sink in until I watched the news on TV in the late evening. Kauhajoki is 70km from Töjby, I went to school there for a year and I´ve been there several times on cycling competitons, I know several people from there (through the cycling) + J is from there (he was strangely enough the first one I thought about when I heard about the shooting)...
The first school shooting in Jokela was horrific as well and I was of course moved by that as well but like I said, Kauhajoki was more close to home and... Well, I explained it.

However, this isn´t about the school shootings, this is about the horrible, horrible events in Norway.

As you may recall, I went to Stockholm only days after those events and we drove past the Norwegian Embassy, where it was filled with flowers outside the gate. This was on the last day of my visit in Stockholm. Days before, we attended Allsång på Skansen, where the host - the fabolous Måns Zelmerlöw - dedicated the first song to Norway. Such a lovely gesture...


Now I will make dinner for myself and clean the appartment. I´m awaiting guests for tonight.

Hi peeps!

Hope your Friday´s been good. I´m watching TV at the moment -> Castle (love it!).

Before that I watched Let´s Dance. It was so great! My fave Anton was the best tonight, he and his dance partner! Sigrid got 26 points, the dance was paso doble and the song Hung Up by Madonna. Anton looked seriously hot!

On Thursday the ice cream stand came to the supermarket. It looks like a little, yellow house *hihi* So that´s where I will be spending my days this Summer. Since it´s about two weeks until 1 May, when the grand opening will be, there isn´t much time to get everything settled. E.g. we have to figure out which ice cream kinds we´ll be selling.

On Thursday, mam came to Vaasa for some shopping, and at the same time we bought a coffee maker. It´s with capsules, so it´s easy to make different beverages, such as coffee, tea, cappucino and hot chocolate.

We tried it tonight as we made cappucino. It was really delicious. Although, the cappucino needs to be sweetened if you don´t like the stronger taste.


All right, I´ll be going to bed now. It´s gonna be a long day tomorrow!

Oh boy did we enjoy the brand new episode of GLEE :D I know I sure did! I watched it tonight and I love-love-loved it! My fave Darren totally rocked Fighter (by Christina Aguilera), the performance is seen below + some screencaps from the performance ;-) Yum!

Tonight I was supposed to meet up with Ammi for a movie date (Titanic in 3D) but sadly Ammi got a nasty flue bug so we had to postpone it. Feel better soon girl!
