Today we celebrate my bestie Tasha who celebrates her 24th birthday today! This of course has to be celebrated and in true Peaches-style, I made a vidlet.
❤ You'll always be my friend, beyond words, beyond time and beyond distance ❤

Oh, oh... This has to be mentioned...
I absolutly loveKenny Wormald as Ren. He does it so well, I love that accent of his + he´s totally hot! But I knew that already *lol* as I knew him from the movie Center Stage: Turn It Up.
I told ya he´s gorgeous!

The restof the eveningwas spenton the couchwith yummy treats and one of my faveourite movies, 17 Again. Gosh, I love that movie! It never gets old!
Guess it´s been quiet on the blogging front, I apologize for that. Been a hectic week and for a day or two I had a fever´ish feeling, I were cold etc. Also, I´ve been without my netti-tikku for the past two days, since my brother borrowed it.
Nothing special has happened during the last days either. Just school.
Tomorrow I´m going on a quickie-trip to Vaasa. I´m going to the cinema.
This is the movie I´ll see.
I don´t know what´s wrong with the cinema in Vaasa, but this movie (that will be amazing, btw!!) will only be shown tomorrow, Saturday at 2.45pm. It´s so ridicolous!
It was the same with both the movies Abduction and One Day. They showed for, like, 2 or 3 days and I really wanted to see them, especially One Day. Ah well...
At the same time, I will do some shopping. I have 2 Birthday Girls I need to find presents for.
*LOL*
Maybe you´ve already seen this but I´ve added 2 new features to the blog. It´s 2 new pages. The titles, if you may, are written in Irish.
Mo scéal, Mo shaol means My Story, My Life and that page is basically a presentation about me and what I like etc.
An ceol de Mo shaol means Music of My Life and here I have collected my favourite bands/artists in collages. I may come to update them (but now I have to go to bed!) and add more.
The next page I will make will probably, as I´ve imagined it, contain my favourite TV shows, movies, actors etc.
If you had seen the four lads sipping pints in a Kuala Lumpur hotel bar, you might have thought – if you couldn't see their faces – they were just four Irish lads, abroad for work, catching up over a beer; chatting about going home, about the families, wives, partners and babies they had left behind, about the future. What you couldn't have known – even if you could see their faces – was that these four fresh-faced young men with pints in their hands had just agreed to break up the most successful boyband in decades. In doing so, they were waving goodbye to millions of euro; closing the book on a 14-year collaboration that had brought them 14 No.1 singles, 44 million album sales, 10 sellout tours – and riches beyond the dreams of (as their manager once labelled them) 'some cute culchies and a Dub'.
Down the hatch: From left, Kian Egan, Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne, and Mark Feehily reached their decision to quit in Kuala Lumpur
They were also turning their back on a £5m deal from RCA, the giant record company that also boasts talent such as Alicia Keys and David Bowie. And, of course, they were breaking the hearts of millions of fans worldwide – and none more devoted than those at home in Ireland. But the truth is that the break-up of Westlife, while a shock to their devotees, had been brewing for more than a year. The group had been torn apart by concerns about their direction; a wedge had been driven between them by Simon Cowell's record label, Syco; and they were finding separation from their families increasingly unbearable. Despite all the money, the adulation and the achievement, Westlife, quite simply, had had enough. While all bands experience various strains and stresses on the way – U2 recently admitted nearly breaking up during the recording of Achtung Baby in 1991 – Westlife had proved remarkably resilient. They had easily weathered the loss of Bryan McFadden... to the extent that it was he who was begging to rejoin them last week. The fact that three of the members – Shane Filan, Mark Feehily and Kian Egan – were all from Sligo had given them a strong bond, without ever suggesting that the fourth man, Nicky Byrne, was an outsider. They were still selling out Croke Park and their lustre appeared undimmed. During 2010, however, they began to have serious problems with their longtime label, Syco – owned by Simon Cowell, the most powerful man in pop. Even the fact that they were managed by Louis Walsh, a close friend of Cowell with an unparrallelled track record, didn't help.
Family man: Nicky with wife Georgina and twins Jay and Rocco
Westlife felt Cowell and his label had lost interest in them and were unwilling to co-operate with the singers' plans. The band felt the last two Westlife albums, Where We Are and Gravity, contained some of their best work, so good they felt that there were three singles on each – but the label seemed unwilling to back them up.
The first release, Safe, limped into the British charts at No.10, their weakest-ever position. Beautiful Tonight had been earmarked as the second single but Cowell pulled the plug on any further releases. 'This was when the cracks started forming within the band,' said a well placed source. All four felt Gravity was an 'incredible' album but Cowell wouldn't release any more singles. Cowell knew Westlife fans would buy the albums anyway so why waste money on videos and promotions for singles? It was February and the British leg of the Gravity tour was under way but only one single had been released. 'Mark was very upset by this, having written on four tracks,' said a source. 'He desperately wanted the group to take control back from the Syco and made it clear to the others that if they didn't leave, the band was doomed. So they phoned Louis and told him the situation. The future of the group and their friendships were in jeopardy.'
Family affair: Singer Shane Filan with his wife Gillian
I have to return to talking about Westlife, shortly this time around. I were told today by a friend that "experts" are saying the lads will re-unite within 5 years time. Somehow, that doesn´t seem likely but then again, I´m so bummed about the split right now that I would totally be dead excited about that.
Another rumour that´s circling around is that one of the lads already has a solo carriere planned. An solo album + solo tour will be announced... well, sometime.
The other lads will focus on carriers in Radio&TV and song-writing.
Who is the future solo artist?
SHANE!
This is really no surprise to me, I´d completly understand if Shane would get a solo-deal. He has the best voice in the group, even if Mark isn´t far behind. Shane´s voice is truly one in a million. Take You Raise Me Up, for instance. He makes one of his very best performances in that song and I get chills every time I hear it.
Take this amazing performance of that song from Croke Park 2008.
Filan may not be my #1 favourite Lifer; Byrnestill has the #1 spot *lol* and Shane is on honourable #2. But he still is the other half of ShNicky ;) Who could ever resist? Plus, he does afteer all have that "Million-Wattmega-smile that can light up the darkest room"! (Quote: Feehily)
Solo album or no solo album, I would totally buy it. I´m that devoted to WL and I will probably always see Shane (and the rest of the lads) as WL lads - in a good way, of course.
Further more, if the rumour about the solo tour is true, maybe I´d go see that as well. If Shane now decided to include Finland or Sweden. *wink wink*
Please note, that nothing of this has been confirmed by Shane himself, it´s just rumours circling around. But like I already stated, I wouldn´t be very surprised if one day a Shane Filan album turns up =)
Time will tell, if Sligo´s sweetheart will release a solo album after Westlife has said Thank you & Goodbye...
I were so caught up in the whole Westlife drama yesterday I forgot to tell you that I went to the hairdresser´s yesterday.
I brought the photos of the hairstyle I showed in this entry and it turned out really good! Auntie B was really excited about it, hihi, since she also told me before my visit at the hairdresser´s that I should cut my hair short.
You know how picky I´ve been about the lenght on my hair and how nervous I were about cutting it relatively shorter this Summer... Anyways, here are some photos:
On 11 November (11.11.11 *looool*) I have another appoitment at the hairdresser´s, I´ll colour it then. I´ve started to brainstorm about colours and I have decided that I´ll ask the hairdresser if she has green and orange colour, since I wanna colour three stripes in the colours of the Irish flag -> green, white and orange. Like a tribute to both the fantastic country and that lovely band. If it works out, I´ll do that colouring in time for my Stockholm trip.
Speaking of the the Irish, I´m about to watch 2 movies where the theme is Ireland: Once and Leap Year. Take care lovely people!
Tonight I recieved a shocking sms from Angie, it was really...
OH MY GOD!!!
I didn´t want to believe it at first, but after logging in on Facebook and Twitter, I simply had to realize it was true. Still, it hasn´t sunk in yet and it will take a while before it actually does and I realize... How real this really is.
This is what I´m talking about ='(
It´s unbelievable.
Now I understandif there arereaders whothink Imagnifythisway too muchandsodo you thinkwell, "You're 24, you shouldn´t listen toBoybands" buttheideaispurelyout ofridiculous, since Westlifehas been around since1999 (started in 1998,jah, butthey got their breakthroughthe year) afterand I havegrown up withthem.
Sure, I admit, the first few years, I am very similar totoday'sJustin BieberorEricSaadefans=crazyand I hadmyfavoriteof the guys, the otherswerenot worth having... Back in the day, I actually hated one of the lads that I´ve come to adore today.
Butthe older yougot, itwasthere (even favoritemember) and began toseeit alldifferently. Ifoundother reasonsto loveandworshipthis greatband. I foundstrengthintheir songs, bothgood&evil.
I´ve also watched the band grow & develop, bothas a bandandin private life. I haverejoicedover thesuccesses, grievedwhenfifth memberBrian left the band...I have been absolutly thrilled reading about engagements and proposals and I´ve Ooh!:ed and Aaawh!:ed from watching wedding photos + being so happy for them when they´ve married their childhood sweethearts(or had agirlfriend whowas homefrom Vaasa!). I´ve been thrilled to hear about pregnancies, and smiled gladly as they´ve had children, mournedandfeltcompassionwhen they´velosta family member...
In addition, you have no idea how much I have Westlife to thank for! I have met most of my best friends through them: Angeliqa, Ammi, Anna, Tasha, Daniela, Vonne, Kasia, Brooke, Liyen, Melanie, Malin... All my pen friends I´ve had throughout the years, I got to know thanks to these amazing five lads.
Moreover, Westlife has inspired me to do countless music videos (both as a band and individually) and write several fanfics.
They have helped me in the darkest moments. Hell, I´m gonna say it: I owe them my life. If it weren´t for them, I wouldn´t be here today.
Another great thing I have Westlife to thank for, is my undying love for Ireland. I got interested in the gorgeous country thanks to the lads at first and then through history, culture etc. A desire to go there rose up, became stronger with each year. And as previous posts describe, I go there in October 2008. Love at first sight.I also have found an interest in Irish culture, folklore, language (Irish) and I am real fond of Irish English, there is no more delightful and glorious accent. Thanks to a member's relationship with a minister's daughter, I had also become aware of my absolute favorite author Cecelia Ahern, who is the sister-in-law of Nico.
Thanks to Brian being my favorite member back in the day when he was still with the WL, I saw him live in Helsinki in November 2004 (when he had left the WL and become a solo artist), when he participated in a UNICEF concert. It was truly a magical feeling!Sure, I had to scream and cry and fight to get the rest of the family (ie mom) to yield, for she felt even then that I should grow out of my teen idol-manners but thanks and praise, I got dad on my side and all family went down to Helsinki.Still remember how excited I was when I came to school Monday after (the concert was on a Saturday I think), I shone like the sun probably and tripped happily until my friend S and showed pictures & videos that I took.
There are even a few months until my favorites says loan Leat, mo chairde muinín ... The supposed release greatest hits disc and spring 2012 will be the tour. The very last...I have more or less decided that I should be in place, in one way or another location. Heading the list is, of course, Dublin or Belfast. If nothing else, it will be London. I will regret it if I did not go, I feel it in me. Finally, let me quote two of the WL-Lads:
If we stay in your hearts, you´ll forever stay in ours
Brian McFadden, Where Dreams Come True tour 2001
No Matter What... Westlife are Unbreakable!
Kian Egan, Turnaround tour 2004
Last of all, let me share with youa couple ofWestlifesongs thatcome to meanthat muchto me, inone way or another.

Today 19 October, it´s one year since I started this blog!
Happy Birthday
MySmileOnYourFace!
Since I did the same when my other blog turned 1 year, I will do the same here - it´s only fair. I´ll collect statistics for this blog, like visitors and their countries, most read entry etc.
So I say it a little prayer and
Hope my dreams will take me there
Where the skies are blue
To see you once again
My love
Overseas from coast to coast to
Find the place I love the most
Where the fields are green
To see you once again
My love
Everybody has a place in time, where stars fall in line
When every colour shines and lights up your life
Everybody has a magic moment that they remember still
First of all, I checked the website for the cinema in Vaasa a few minutes ago. They stop showing One Day tomorrow, Tuesday. That´s so sick! It premiered on Saturday and they stop showing it after just a few days?! It has to be something wrong with it. They´re still showing stupid Crazy Stupid Love for crying out loud! A movie that´s only good because Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone are in it. Otherwise it´s kinda crappy.
Second, I´m starting to get really annoyed at myself. Really, I look down at myself that much? Seriously, I can´t even do that? What´s wrong with me?
Oh, and you want to know something... hmm... funny? Noo, it´s not funny, it´s the total opposite but... Well... We´ve got a bad boy to Töjby. He´s known all around for being a druggie and alcoholic... He hasn´t got the best reputation. He lives in a house a little bit from the supermarket and mam tenses up everytime he comes into the supermarket. The lad is appearently very friendly and honest (he tells her everything that´s going on) but you never know with drugs... The whole village is pissed at the people who decided to rent the house for him. One of them told mam they hadn´t realized who it was they rented it out to (yeah right!). The lad who lives in the house now, renting it, also has his pack of friends and they come there to party. The police usually have to come there as well. The lad´s mam also has a drinking problem and they party together. Like... whoah.
Oh, and in this same house... The previous people who lived there grew marijuana in the basement or something. Like, yeah...
You know who had a concert in Finland last Friday? Ms Britney Spears! How cool is that! This was... the second or third time Britney was in Finland and somehow I think it would´ve been exciting to have been at the concert, seeing her live. I mean, I grew up with Britney, I was 12 - or something - when she became a superstar and she has released some awesome songs over the years. Plus, if it hadn´t been for Britney, I probably wouldn´t have found a certain male singer as my #1. Y´all know who I´m talking about! *wink wink* If not, you must be an idiot!
I mean, I went to the BSB concert in Helsinki in 2008 and even if I´m not their biggest fan (I prefer the Irish "boyband"), it was still fun. And yes, the fact that I lived 1 hour away by train made it so much easier for me to decide that I would go. The concert wasn´t the best I´ve seen - even if I thought so at first but I were excited about seeing the lads probably - but still... I remember being quite shocked that so many people showed up to the concert, since boybands aren´t exactly Finland´s favourite music, hmm, brand. But hey... Who didn´t love BSB when they first started out? ;)
She´s got real bad concert reviews, though... She was appearently completly trashed in Copenhagen and the Swedish reporters weren´t that nice either. I haven´t found a Finnish review, but I hope we were nicer...
The thing with the Swedes, though, are funny... Before Britney´s two concerts in Sweden (Malmö and Stockholm) they wrote real positively about it, how the Swedish music producers basically were the stars behind her carriere etc etc. Yes, I admit, she worked a lot with Max Martin back in the day and I believe she´s done the same on the latest album, not sure. But anyway, that´s so typical the Swedish media. To first be like: 'Yeah, she owes her entire carriere to us' to then totally trash her. So bad.
And for the past years, the media has been more interested in Britney´s private, personal life in stead of her music.
I´ve listened to RTÉ 2FM a lot lately, and there they´ve been having ads for Britney´s concert; with supporting actJoe Jonas. Jelooous!
Hope your weekend has been good! I´ve done nothing much today, fixed the last stuff with my new laptop and helped brother stocking wood. Real funny... Not.
So yeah, I bought a new laptop yesterday + bag + mag + cooling pad (if that´s the right word for it). The whole package became a prize of 920 €, a reasonable prize.
I were supposed to go to the movies yesterday with Ammi to see Abduction but unfortunatly we had to cancel that. No worries, we´ll take it another time. I´m going to Vaasa later in the week, as I forgot the cameras there, stupid me. And I´ll need them for the funural on Saturday.
At the same time I´ll be in Vaasa, I´m going to the movies, to see One Day. I´m determined to see it.
Last night I watched a charity gala from Sweden, where they collected money for children. They got, like, 70 million Swedish crowns - impressive! Lots of great performers were there as well, e.g. Danny in all his 'Look at me, I´m a superstar!' Tone it down a bit, D., otherwise I like you! Anyways, he performed a gorgeous ballad from his latest album, called Cassandra. Probably one of my faves from the album.
Because, as you know... Me + Ballads = L.O.V.E.
The performance can be found below.
Since the funural is on Saturday, I had to cancel the Stockholm-trip. The most concerning thing here was the Romeo & Juliet-tickets, we weren´t sure if we could re-book them or if we had to cancel it all in all. Well, good news, we were able to re-book them. We even got the same seats! So, on December 18 we´ll watch the matiné show of the musical. This date is also the last day they´re playing the musical so... Awesome! Plus, since it´s so close to Christmas, I´ll be able to do some Christmas shopping. Fabolous!
The 2-disc deluxe edition of the album also includes an exclusive 35 track DVD as well as a bonus-CD

What do we think of this one peeps?
To be honest... I´m quite disappointed that the older songs are on this one. This is supposed to be the 2ndGreatest Hits album, so why do they have to bring along the songs that were on the 1st one. Annoying. I was positive that they´d start with the tracklist from Hey Whatever and forward. But atleast they have 4 new songs on the album.
The front cover looks kind of nice, though. A bit different to the other ones.
I might be annoyed about it now, but I´m sure I´ll love the album when I have it in my hand. You know me when it comes to my *Lifers, I couldn´t possibly hate them! *wink wink*
"Clary Fray tumbles into the supernatural world when she visits a club called Pandemonium, and witness a murder.
Following this tragic event Clary´s mother, Jocelyn, is kidnapped by a man called Valentine. She then calls on those who she saw at the club, and asks them to help her.
In the search for the Mortal Cup, Clary makes decisions harder than any she has ever made. She falls in love, struggles with her best friend and becomes the person her mother feared she would be."
I wrote about these books a few months ago in this post, since I´d ordered them as a birthday present for myself. The Mortal Instruments is a book series consisting of four books. I have the first and the second > City of Bones and City of Ashes.
OMG I loved City of Bones and I´m currently reading City of Ashes and... So far so good!
The series is also being made into a movie, the first part City of Bones will come out next year. They´ve already casted the actors for Clary and Jace. Lily Collins will play Clary and Jamie Campell Bower will play Jace.
Reading the first two books, I totally get why everyone would want Alex Pettyferto play Jace. Alex would be a perfect Jace - perfect! And I´m not saying this just because I adore Alex *lol* I seriously think he´d be a perfectJace. But sadly, the roles have been casted already and they chose someone else for Jace.
Just look at these fanmade movie trailers I found on YouTube.
Told ya! And you surely see yourself, Alex is a perfectJace.
Allright, so yesterday made an 180* =( Got a dramatic ending... I won´t talk about it more here, in respect for the people involved, but let´s hope for the best.
And since what happened yesterday, I flunked the exam - totally flunked. Urgh.
* * * * *
Let´s change the subject.
At the end of this post, where you can see the labels and location for this post and such things, I also added a Feedback-section, where you can vote (or whatever the correct term is) on my blog posts.
My hair seriously needs to be taken care of. It needs colour as well, since it just looks like shite. I´ve been putting it on hold for way too long. At the end of this post, you can see some photos of hairstyles I´m considering. The colour I´m quite certain about. It stands between a red´ish tone or then I´ll make it dark, dark chocolate brown.
Here are two different kinds of page-hairstyles. I like the first photo better, it´s softer in a way and it feels more me.
This is the hairstyle I brought to the hairdresser´s the last time I were there + the colour combination is the colour I got then.
I also like how Dianna Agron has cut her hair. I like the second photo better.
We´ll see what happens. The result (whenever that will be) will most surly show up here in the blog.
Since fall and winter is soon upon us, it would be nice to find some more suitable shoes for that kind of weather. Not that I´m totally without, but I would like to have some nicer looking pair of shoes for the matter. And since I´m going to Stockholm in less that 2 weeks, I´d like to find some good-looking ones. Especially for the event we´re attending on Sunday! *lol* For that event particular, one need to look a bit more posh than usual! ;)
So I went to the shoe shop in Tampere´s website (Speci.net)and I found some pairs there that I totally love + I also visited Brandos, where you can order shoes online, where both the shipping and return is free. So you could order the shoes you like and if you don´t like them or they don´t fit, you can easily return them, without being forced to pay that extra fee. Although, if I now decide to order the shoes from Brandos, I won´t most likely buy all of them, since they´re quite pricy.
The ones with the frame around them are from Brandos and all the other ones are from Speci.
Anyways, here are the pairs I liked the most. I really fell in love with the green boots-looking pair (maybe because they´re green?) + the red bootees. The bootees with the fur collar is also nice-looking.
Speaking of shopping... I might have mentioned that I´m thinking about buying a new laptop, since my current one isn´t working 100% completly (right now it´s behaving better than usual) and I think I´ve found a candidate, hehe. An Asus N53SV 15,6".
The new laptop will of course be used for school & studying but I will also use it for private use, you know. Like watching DVDs or photo editing. Next week I will go and make my purchase, I´ve been planning it for 2 weeks now. At the same time, I will also buy some other stuff for the laptop. Things you need, you know.
Another item I´m thinking about buying, is a camera bag for my Nikon D3100 + I might look into objectivs and what the pizes on those are. Since I´m a beginner with the whole D-SLRs thing, I might need some guidance.
Something else I actually have ordered home already are books. Among them is the brand new book from Ms Cecelia Ahern and it´s called Time of My Life. It´s about time the lady released a new book, I love her books!! Y
I was about to upload a YouTube clip with Fab4, with Behind the Scenes-footage from the making of the music video for Lighthouse, but it must´ve been taken off as I can´t seem to find it =( That´s such a shame because it was hilarious!
The director for the video is the same who made the music video for What About Now(which we of courseY So gorgeous!), with the slight difference that "He´s taken the lads from the north to the south", as one of the lads himself put it. I know the music video will be gorgeous, since the song itself it gorgeous too! And I found a part of the music video to be similar to the music video for Obvious(another Fab4 MV favouriteY So, so gorgeous!) I can´t wait to see it.
Speaking of Fab4. It´s Nico´s B´day on Sunday, wohoo!
=)
The cutie will be 33, you wouldn´t believe that huh? *LOL*
Now I will watch the latest episodes of The Secret Circle and The Vampire Diaries. Talk to you soon peeps!
Update: I ordered the 3 pairs from Brandos, don´t tell my mam! ;-)
Today was a stay in bed-day. I woke up in the middle of the night, feeling worse than sick, so I went to the toilet, but nothing happened. So I went to the kitchen to drink a glass of water but then it got so much worse. The room started spinning, so I expected to wake up on the floor, it was real scary. I also suspect that I had some sort of heart palpitations. Scary.

Autum and winter is a time where a lot of great movies are coming out. Here are my personal favourites. I´m looking the most forward to seeing the last movie!
We´ve reached October now. I´d say it´s October 1st but the clock on my laptop shows it´s 5minutes past midnight so I won´t. Anyways...
Today I haven´t done much... I cut the grass/collected the leaves fallen from the trees and then I made an assignment for school (one I´ve failed to return on set deadline *oops*) and I hope to do some more tomorrow. Although, my dear mami told me I´ll be put into work tomorrow but I have simply to object a bit. How that will work out, I´m letting be unsaid.
Speaking of October, it´s 19 days until I´ll be visiting my darling Stockholm once again. It´s gonna be epic and you already know what I´m looking forward to most, besides meeting my bestie Angie. It´s gonna be so much fun! When have I ever had a not fun time being in Stockholm?
I think I´ll be going to bed soon. Talk to you soon peeps!
PS! I were expecting comments on the Hunk-a-licious lads of Sweden post,
