Today was the first day back in school after two weeks´ holiday. We had one class, starting at 1.15pm, with our group supervisor. She´s one of a kind, let me tell you! :)
I got a bit stressed this morning, as I left too late than I had planned. But I came to school when it was 1.05pm so I wasn't late. Tomorrow is a longer day at school and on Wednesday is the longest school day of this week. We´ll start with the "kitchen classes" then. Honestly, I couldn´t care less about that, I´d rather ship everything that has to do with restaurant classes and start immediatly with the tourism classes - that´s why I enrolled at the school in the first place! - but the kitchen classes are mandatory so... What can one do?
Anyways, the point with this entry was that I would show you what I bought in Stockholm*hihi* Everything is not on there, as I also bought food; candy and drinks etc - and that´s gone now *moahaha*
Here you can see what I got as birthday presents from Angeliqa. I tell you, the girl is spoiling me! *LoL*
I have to tell you, the liqourice tea smells amazing!
I´m sorry for the long break, not my intention. I haven´t been able to blog all week, there´s something wrong with my web browsers on my laptop. Right now I´m using mam´s, so I´ll borrow it to Vaasa this week and get the other laptops to service.
So, where to start! It´s been an eventful week.
School started on Monday. We´re 31 students on the class, both Swedish -and Finnish-speaking students and coming from all over Finland. The majority is from Vaasa and nearby region; Ostrobothnia but there are also students from both Northern and Southern Finland, for example Joensuu and Simo in the North and Lahtis and Porvoo in the South.
Even if I´ve only finished one study week, it really feels like I´ve found the right study programme. Because, as you know, Tourism is something I´m interested in and I also love to travel, so it´s really my cup of tea.
I´ve also decided - finally, after thinking about it for many years already, to take Spanish classes this Fall. I´ve also considered taking Italian, but I´m unsure if the course is on beginners´ level or what the deal is. So I´ll focus on Spanish only this Fall, maybe I´ll take Italian next year *hihi*
As you know, I´m a sucker for languages, so I´d love to learn other ones as well. Like Russian, Chinese and then of course I´d love to get more knowledge in the Irish Celtic languages. I know only a few words/sentences so I´d like to get a more overall knowledge of the language.
The other big event was my 25th birthday on Wednesday. I went to Amarillo for a birthday dinner with Ammi and Susanna.
Oooh how delicious it was!
I´ve got a few birthday presents already and I´m expecting to get more *hihi* I got a new 120" bed *loovely!* and I bought a BluRay player for myself.
I´ve also ordered some books (last wek) and since I now own a BluRay player, I ordered some movies. Season 3 of The Vampire Diaries, for example, coming out on September 11. I cannot wait! Then we´ll have to wait one more month, until season 4 of our favourite show starts! I seriously cannot believe it won´t start showing until 11 October!
Another birthday gift I´m still to get is... the cake you can see below! :D Ammi told me on Wednesday she´d have someone make it for me! So next Saturday she´ll bring it. I then don´t know if I´ll bring it home or if everyone will come to Vaasa *hihi* Somehow, I doubt everyone will come to my little flat... ;-) We´ll see.
Today I ordered some books from adlibris. Among them is City of Lost Souls, which is the latest book in The Mortal Instruments series. I had no idea there would be a fifth book, so that was a nice surprise. I also bought book two, Clockwork Prince in The Infernal Devices series. That series is like a prologue to The Mortal Instruments series. I also bought a box triology of The Hunger Games. I watched the movie and it was good but I didn´t really catch the big deal about it. Maybe I´ll get it after reading the books.
Besides ordering the books, I also ordered some shoes from brandos a few days ago. We´ll see if I´ll keep any of them or if I´ll have to return all of them.
Oooh look what I found at TVD Addiction´s Facebook page :D
I´ve said it before, but I can´t say it enough. I want Ian to play Christian Grey!! He would be Perfect, hell, he´d be more than Perfect.
Yes? No? HELL YES!!!
A Swedish TV channel started to show Hart of Dixie at the end of July and tonight it was time for the fifth episode, Havoc & Heat was soso so kickass awesome! Whau!... Sure, it´s from season one and I´ve obviously seen it (a dozen times) but why not watch it ;-) *LOL*
I cannot wait for season 2.
Look at this gorgeous video. Whau... And the song, OMG! Someone should do a similar video for Nico
;-)
I´m at work at the moment, in the ice cream stand. It´s so effing hot, hot like a sauna! No, not really, but it´s effin close!
Guess what I found out literally a second ago! My/our fave author Ms Ahern will soon have a brand new book out! Awesome! Check out the cover, looks gorgeous!
More news about the best author in the world ;-) She and hubby Dave have recently become parents to a baby boy, called Sonny so now Robin has a baby bro. I had no idea what-so-ever that they were expecting, found out from brother-in-law Byrne´s twitter. *hihi*
I will soon turn off the extra lights and cuddle down in bed with a book. Book 3 in The Mortal Instrumentsseries, called City of Glass. It´s awesome!
I don´t know if it´s my imagination, but´s my flat is really cold, like freezing! My feet feel like ice cubes! Ice cubes!
It seems like Ammi will be joining us tomorrow as well. Fun fun fun! Hopefully we don´t bore Susa with our Westlife talk, since I bet the subject will come up *wink wink*
;-)
By the way, I hope you´ve noticed I´ve changed the design a bit here in the blog; background image, colours and fonts. I wanted to make it more winter-like, since it´s late November. Soon it will be Christmas *woop woop*
OnWednesdaythepremiereofBreaking DawnPt1, the fourthfilm in theTwilightsaga. On Fridayit premieres here in Vaasa. Ido not really knowyetif I'll try to get a ticket tothe premiere, even if it tends to betraditionthat one shouldgo to thepremiere... It´s all just a blur.
I sort of had the idea that I would go with A but then she didn´t have money and had to wait until the 20th.
But now, all of a sudden, she has bought her ticket for the premiere *bummer* and everything is just a blur when it comes to S. Wouldn´t surprise me if she has bought a ticket also for the premier - without telling me. That would be so typical. If nothing comes up, I´ll buy a ticket for Sunday.
I founda notein the mailbox today, which saidthat the orderfromKelttiKoruthave cometo the post, so itwill be retrievedtomorrow.
This is what I bought from KelttiKorut. I have a feeling I will buy more from the site before the year´s over, but they have so many gorgeous stuff! *lol*

"Clary Fray tumbles into the supernatural world when she visits a club called Pandemonium, and witness a murder.
Following this tragic event Clary´s mother, Jocelyn, is kidnapped by a man called Valentine. She then calls on those who she saw at the club, and asks them to help her.
In the search for the Mortal Cup, Clary makes decisions harder than any she has ever made. She falls in love, struggles with her best friend and becomes the person her mother feared she would be."
I wrote about these books a few months ago in this post, since I´d ordered them as a birthday present for myself. The Mortal Instruments is a book series consisting of four books. I have the first and the second > City of Bones and City of Ashes.
OMG I loved City of Bones and I´m currently reading City of Ashes and... So far so good!
The series is also being made into a movie, the first part City of Bones will come out next year. They´ve already casted the actors for Clary and Jace. Lily Collins will play Clary and Jamie Campell Bower will play Jace.
Reading the first two books, I totally get why everyone would want Alex Pettyferto play Jace. Alex would be a perfect Jace - perfect! And I´m not saying this just because I adore Alex *lol* I seriously think he´d be a perfectJace. But sadly, the roles have been casted already and they chose someone else for Jace.
Just look at these fanmade movie trailers I found on YouTube.
Told ya! And you surely see yourself, Alex is a perfectJace.
