\\/\// You were always there by my side ♥ Night and day, Through it all \\/\//

Tonight I recieved a shocking sms from Angie, it was really...
OH MY GOD!!!
I didn´t want to believe it at first, but after logging in on Facebook and Twitter, I simply had to realize it was true. Still, it hasn´t sunk in yet and it will take a while before it actually does and I realize... How real this really is.

This is what I´m talking about ='(

It´s unbelievable.

Now I understand if there are readers who think I magnify this way too much and so do you think well, "You're 24, you shouldn´t listen to Boybands" but the idea is purely out of ridiculous, since Westlife has been around since 1999 (started in 1998, jah, but they got their breakthrough the year) after and I have grown up with them.

Sure, I admit, the first few years, I am very similar to today's Justin Bieber or Eric Saade fans = crazy and I had my favorite of the guys, the others were not worth having... Back in the day, I actually hated one of the lads that I´ve come to adore today.

But the older you got, it was there (even favorite member) and began to see it all differently. I found other reasons to love and worship this great bandI found strength in their songs, both good & evil.

I´ve also watched the band grow & develop, both as a band and in private life. I have rejoiced over the successes, grieved when fifth member Brian left the band... I have been absolutly thrilled reading about engagements and proposals and I´ve Ooh!:ed and Aaawh!:ed from watching wedding photos + being so happy for them when they´ve married their childhood sweethearts (or had a girlfriend who was home from Vaasa!). I´ve been thrilled to hear about pregnancies, and smiled gladly as they´ve had children, mourned and felt compassion when they´ve lost a family member...
In addition, you have no idea how much I have Westlife to thank for! I have met most of my best friends through them: Angeliqa, Ammi, Anna, Tasha, Daniela, Vonne, Kasia, Brooke, Liyen, Melanie, Malin... All my pen friends I´ve had throughout the years, I got to know thanks to these amazing five lads.

Moreover, Westlife has inspired me to do countless music videos (both as a band and individually) and write several fanfics.

They have helped me in the darkest moments. Hell, I´m gonna say it: I owe them my life. If it weren´t for them, I wouldn´t be here today.

Another great thing I have Westlife to thank for, is my undying love for Ireland. I got interested in the gorgeous country thanks to the lads at first and then through history, culture etc. A desire to go there rose up, became stronger with each year. And as previous posts describe, I go there in October 2008. Love at first sight.I also have found an interest in Irish culture, folklore, language (Irish) and I am real fond of Irish English, there is no more delightful and glorious accent.
Thanks to a member's relationship with a minister's daughter, I had also become aware of my absolute favorite author Cecelia Ahern, who is the sister-in-law of Nico.

Thanks to Brian being my favorite member back in the day when he was still with the WL, I saw him live in Helsinki in November 2004 (when he had left the WL and become a solo artist), when he participated in a UNICEF concert. It was truly a magical feeling!Sure, I had to scream and cry and fight to get the rest of the family (ie mom) to yield, for she felt even then that I should grow out of my teen idol-manners but thanks and praise, I got dad on my side and all family went down to Helsinki.Still remember how excited I was when I came to school Monday after (the concert was on a Saturday I think), I shone like the sun probably and tripped happily until my friend S and showed pictures & videos that I took.

There are even a few months until my favorites says loan Leat, mo chairde muinín ... The supposed release greatest hits disc and spring 2012 will be the tour. The very last...I have more or less decided that I should be in place, in one way or another location. Heading the list is, of course, Dublin or Belfast. If nothing else, it will be London.
I will regret it if I did not go, I feel it in me.
Finally, let me quote two of the WL-Lads:

If we stay in your hearts, you´ll forever stay in ours
Brian McFadden, Where Dreams Come True tour 2001

No Matter What... Westlife are Unbreakable!
Kian Egan, Turnaround tour 2004

Last of all, let me share with you a couple of Westlife songs that come to mean that much to me, in one way or another.
Some of the song itself is so incredibly beautiful and has a deep meaning, some of the music video is so incredibly good, some because they bring so many memories for me in my teens.

Westlife = ♥
Ngrá leat go deo
