Stockholm 16.-18.12.11

 

 

Hello there!

I´m sorry for the lack of updates, but you all know I´ve been to Stockholm and that wore me out completely! ;-)

 

I´m also in the middle of finishing off the final Christmas presents. Tomorrow I´m going shopping for the very last ones + wrapping them up. I´m also gonna "empty" my flat and move back home for the Christmas Holidays. 9 January 2012 the studying starts again.

 

Anyways, I´m sure you all wanna know about my Stockholm trip. I had the best time! Sure, my back is killing me from the heavy backpack I had to drag with me, but it was really an awesome time! And the end of the trip was just... Wow!

 

Thursday

• Stressed with packing the last stuff, being forced to leave the D-SLR at home (Luckily I did)
• Took the bus down to Turk from Vaasa, took 6 hours *uff*

 

 

Friday

• The ferry arrived at Stockholm
• I had breakfast at a hotel near the harbour *yummy*
• Took the subway into the city centre and waited for Angie at the Central station
•  We took a break at American Cookies *yum*
• I had my fave: Brownie with ice cream and a Latte
• We ate at Max, that has "Sweden´s yummest hamburgers"
• Met up with Jojje and went out to Ekerö, where we would stay

Saturday 

• Went into town, it started snowing! *wohoo*
• We went to Skansen <3 and are delicious waffles and visited the Christmas market
• We also got the chance to sculpture ice and watch an awesome winter show
• Went back into town
• Dinner at Kungshallen, Italian for me
• Me and Angie went to the cinema, to watch In Time - it was awesome!
• Went back to Ekerö

Sunday

• Packed up everything and left Ekerö
• Went to some shops, eg Lagerhaus and Stadium
• Had lunch at Stories in Gallerian *yummy*
• Went to Södermalm
• Watched Romeo & Julia at Göta Lejon, seats 28-29 at row 2
• Went back to the Central station and got our luggage
• Went to the Silja terminal and waited for my ferry to arrive

Monday

• The ferry arrived at Turku in the morning
• I took the bus from Turku to Vaasa
