Let´s start this entry with celebrating Mami on Mother´s Day!
Hundreds of dewdrops to greet the dawn

Now to a much more tragic piece of news...
When I got home from work tonight, mami told me something very disturbing. Findus hadn´t been seen all day and even if mami and broidi had been outside, working with various chores, he had been no where to be find. Therefor, mami started to pain up horror stories... I didn´t want to believe them of course!
Later in the evening, mami and broidi went outside to look for Findus. I followed a bit later, with Tara as a searching-buddy, but Findus was no where to be found... Me and mami both started to feel despair and it didn´t help that brodi later found him inside, laying in the corner of the laundry room, behind the water heater... We called on him and poked him with a hockey stick - no reaction. So we immediatly feared that he´d gone to that quiet place to... die. But then when brodi poked him with the stick, Findus awoke and got irritated and when mami told him to come out, Findus "talked" - sounded like 'no'.
At that moment, when I realized that he hadn´t moved for 24 hours, it hit me that things aren´t looking good for my buddy...
Ever since the night he got into a fight with the white cat wreck, he hasn´t been 100 % healthy. The first days after the quarrell it wasn´t looking good at all, and already then I started to fear the coming events - but his health improved.
Also, he´s over 17 years old, so he isn´t a kid anymore... He´s seen the best days of his existance but... I don´t want to say goodbye to him. He´s been a part of my life since I was 7 years old and graduated from second grade. That´s more than half my life...
My heart breaks when I have to think about saying goodbye. I´m seriously crying right now...
