❤ Breithlá shona, mo chara daor! ❤

Yeees, I know my bestie´s bday was yesterday but there was a mayor storm here yesterday and due to that, we suffered from power failure all day long (from 7 a.m. until 11 p.m.) so I had no chance to upload it in time.

Merry Christmas :)

Merry Christmas!

I wish everyone I know,
Especially for my family and closest friends!

The snow lies heavy on the birch and spruce
It sparkles even in town

With the beautiful Christmas lights we light up the town
And the snow molds several ridges and bumps

Soon the day is here when we celebrate Christmas
We put away all the fuss and hassles

Nollaig Shona!
Merry Christmas!
Joyeux Noël!
Frohe Weihnachten!
Feliz Navidad!
God Jul!
Boldog karácsonyt!
Vesel Božič!
Wesołych Świąt!
Hyvää Joulua!

All I Want for Christmas is You

Hello my lovelies!

In this blog post, you´ll find two Christmas songs, two of my absolute faves when it comes to Christmas songs. I also have a reaaal weak spot for the lad singing the second song *wink wink*!

I´m back in Töjby now, for the Christmas holidays! *woop woop* School starts again on 9 January, so I have quite a long holiday.

Tomorrow it´s Christmas Eve! =)
Somehow, it´s hard to believe because this month has gone by so incredibly fast! And the true Christmas feeling hasn´t really got to me this year, mainly because of the fact that we have no snow what so ever!
It´s crazy! By this time last year we had tons and tons of snow! It was cold weather as well! We had a tiny wee bit snow yesterday but then it started raining and... The snow was gone! =(

Before I left Vaasa for the holidays on Wednesday, I went to Susanna´s for a while and we exchanged Christmas presents and talked gossip for a bit. After that, I went to the cinemas. I´d decided earlier that I would see New Year´s Eve. I went alone since I hadn´t asked anyone.
Here you have one hottie that starred in the movie!
The movie was awesome! Sure, not the best movie I´ve seen and it still doesn´t win over Love Actually (speaking of Christmas-inspired movies) but it had its moments. There were a lot of Hollywood A-list names in the movie. You probably already know that, as I´m positive you haven´t been able to miss it!

I really recommend it, so please go see it! =)

Since it´s Christmas eve tomorrow (or really today, since it´s nearly 1 a.m.) we´ll prepare the traditional Christmas dinner with everything included. I´ll probably eat so much I´ll roll of my chair! *hehe*

On Sunday, Christmas Day, we´ll do the same and we´ll be joined by auntie G & Co. It´s probably the one day each year I can count on seeing all my cousins at once. It´s been ages!

Uff!... Look how gorgeous one call look!
I better go to bed, as I have planned to get up early in the morning. We´ll see how that goes! ;-)

I´ll talk to you soon my sweets! If I have time/ remember, I´ll take photos of the Christmas decorations around the house!

Good Night!

→ As the stars sparkle down Like a diamond ring

Here's a song that I associate with Christmas, in slightly different ways. For sure, it sounds like Christmas music from 3:10 to 3:15, or what do you think? It also became a Christmas #1 * surprise surprise *! It is an immortal classic, if you ask me.

The entire album, which is also Queen of My Heart is on, is so darn good. The cover and the photos inside the booklet is 2 die for, one died several times when you looked through it the first time. Take only pictures of Ki (which was my #1 back then * LOL *) and Nico *yikes*! Mind you, 10 years ago *wink wink* I was a little teenager then. I admit, still today, I think the pictures is awesome looking in exactly the same way, but I also appreciate them in a different way.

Imagine that there is a full 10 years since this music video came out. It's so nice. The biggest shock for everyone is well when Nico shaves off his hair. Or as I used to say (and still sometimes say, when I come by me): "He shaves off his head." I do not know why I came to say so, simply slip of the tongue, hihi.

PS! Speaking of Ki... I have a feeling he and wifey Jodi will get an early Christmas present in the near future =D

→ The angel Gabriel from heaven came With wings as drifted snow, with eyes as flame

The Angel Gabriel
Måns Zelmerlöw feat. Lund Student Choir

This song is so beautiful it almost makes me weep! It´s included on Månseli´s new Christmas cd Kära Vinter (Eng. Dear Winter). So gorgeous!

→ Sometimes you promise someone forever but it doesn't work out that way

In another life
I would be your girl
We'd keep all our promises
Be us against the world

In another life
I would make you stay
So I don't have to say
You were the one that got away
The one that got away

→ New Year´s Eve [2011] Ano Novo, Vida Nova!

'New Year's Eve' felt mechanical and forced, a project merely designed for profit. This is rather a 118 minute tourist video about how wonderful The Big Apple is, 7 December 2011
4/10
Author:
The Upcoming from United Kingdom

After his last holiday-themed box-office smash Valentine's Day in 2010, director Garry Marshall has carbon-copied the exact same formula for his latest film New Year's Eve which uses its gigantic ensemble cast to document various different relationships and states of emotions over the course of a single day and night in New York City.

The story lines include: a couple awaiting the birth of their child, two people who become trapped together in an elevator and a gentleman who is trying to enjoy his last New Year's Eve on earth as he sadly lays on his deathbed.

Much like Valentine's Day, Marshall's latest film seems to forget the importance of character development and indeed sure-footed narrative; these films feel like the audience are watching Ashton Kutcher flirt with Lea Michele, or Zac Efron helping Michelle Pfeiffer, which – in all honesty – they are. Never are viewers able to break away from the celebrities portraying these supposed characters, which cause great issues when trying to build and present emotion.

The film also has some bizarre cast members, including the incredibly pointless Jon Bon Jovi who slinks about, and may as well be promoting a new Greatest Hits album when he enters the frame. Stars like Halle Berry and Robert De Niro are incredibly redundant here, even though they do benefit from moderate screen-time. Performers like De Niro are worthy of a solid script and something more important to do rather than just stand around holding a theoretical sign saying 'And Robert De Niro'.

Contrary to the opinion of the majority of critics (or males), 'Valentine's Day' was yes fluffy, gooey and forgettable two hours, but also entertaining. It did try very slightly to be different – with a gay romance amongst other things – and whilst this was all still "Hollywood", there were far worse movies released in 2010.

To be fair to 'New Year's Eve', it is not amongst the worst of the year. This might be due to the fact that most of the audience had or have extremely low expectations upon arrival. Expecting a film to be bad makes it all the less painful if the final product is indeed poor and consequently, makes it seem much better than it truly is if a viewer is not disappointed.

'New Year's Eve' felt mechanical and forced, a project merely designed for profit – there is no love nor compassion, no credibility nor realism. This is rather a 118 minute tourist video about how wonderful The Big Apple is, and how beautiful the people who reside in it are. Throw in disgusting amounts of product placement and an old rock star, and hey, you've got a $100 million motion picture! Spend your £8 at the cinema this Christmas on a film that gives like 'Hugo' rather than this, and save the holiday romances for 'Love Actually' on DVD with the family or partner.

Verdict: •• It is better if Marshall does not attempt to make another movie about a commercial holiday again. If we see a trailer with Kutcher dressed as the Easter Bunny for love next year, run for your life.

→ I am flying, my heart is taking over, the world is flashing by

Tonight was the grand finale of the Swedish Idols. I hadn´t planned to watch at first, since I´ve had no interest at all to watch it. Nevertheless, in the end I decided to watch it. And I´m glad I did, because guess who took care of the opening act.
MÅNS ZELMERLÖW and DANNY! 2 of my faves, you know who I like the best *wink wink* They performed Chris Brown´s "Yeah 3x". It was awesome! I tried to get the clip from the TV channel´s website but appearently it´s not available outside Sweden. That sucks but maybe some kind soul will upload it on YouTube *wink wink*

❤ Somerholic

❤ Over & Out ❤

O.M.G. THIS IS GORGEOUS! Tell me why the lads are splitting up again?!!

There's a beauty in forgiveness
Like shining in the distance
I'm stranded and letting go

Love is always to be learned for
When all is said and done sometimes
You need to walk alone
And you and I, I, I, I

Come in can you hear me
I'm saying I'm sorry
There's so much that I want you to know
I'm counting on someday
You wake up and see me till then when letting go
I'm over and out

There's nothing to regret now
All that has been laid out
At once that they lead us home

Life is always ever changing
When all is said and done sometimes
We need to move alone
And you and I, I, I, I

Come in can you hear me
I'm saying I'm sorry
There's so much that I want you to know
I'm counting on someday
You wake up and see me till then when letting go
I'm over

Can't keep go around
Round and round the same old things
Can you see me now
Now I'm over and out

Come in can you hear me
I'm saying I'm sorry
There's so much that I want you to know
I'm counting on someday
You wake up and see me till then when letting go
I'm over and out

→ If you cut me wide open There's a love here unspoken

Hello my darlings!

It´s been quiet in the blog for a few days, I apologize.

Yesterday was Finland´s Independance Day and this was celebrated as tradition on the Presidential Castle in Helsinki with the annual Linnan Juhlat. I didn´t watch the whole broadcast, I saw the beginning. The most exciting part was to watch what kind of dresses the women would wear. One of the most gorgeous of the night, according to me, was this one.

Photo: iltalehti.fi

Minna Kauppi (She is an athlete, orientation) wore this gorgeous dress, inspired by the movie Black Swan. Sure, there were other beautiful dresses, but I reckon this one is my favourite.

Tonight I went for a drive to Susanna´s. I took the bike and I was really out of breath when I got there. Susanna wanted to borrow my Sims 2 game and I wanted to borrow her strip for the underground in Stockholm. I have one from before, but it´s almost out of free stamps so I´ll borrow Susannas just in case.

→ But just like a heartbeat The drumbeat carries on…

OMG this Sunday wasn´t a good day for me :| I certainly hit rock bottom. It´s better now, luckily... Don´t you never feel like you´d got tired of everything and everyone and just... end things.
Don´t worry, I won´t do anything. Not that anyone would care.

→ Then I tie a garland of leaves and put it around the nearest rock, where the runes carved for us, sometime long ago

Today we got an offer on a relative living in Sweden who had died. =(
Soon we have a funural to go to, in Sweden. It will be interesting to see if the Swedish traditions differ slightly from the Finnish. I have heard that the funeral in Sweden may be more rigid and colder than those here at home.

Now to something more, hmm, joyful. ;-D

HAPPY SATURDAY NIGHT!

❤ This isn't goodbye, even as I watch you leave, this isn't goodbye ❤

These 2 CDs were waiting for me when I got home today (or really, yesterday, since it´s not 1a.m.). I ordered them ages ago, so it was about time they arrived.

The first CD is Eric Saade´s Saade Vol 2. As the title says, it´s a sequel to Vol 1 that was released earlier this year.
The second album, was a very much-awaited one =) Westlife´s Greatest Hits, with 2 CDs and 1 DVD (containing all the music videos throughout the years - lots of flashbacks there (-;).

I also love the fact that the whole album booklet is like a book and the photos are gorgeous! Something I´m missing, though, are the Thank Yous. I´m actually shocked they´re not there, I were expecting it after all, due to the circumstances...

→ A cat's eyes are windows enabling us to see into another world

God, how cuuuute! I want one...

I´ll probably have to wait a year or more, until I live on your own. Fast & stable economy would be good too, because it is a purebred cat > cost a fortune...

This cutiepie is named Diesel, pedigree in the form of a Ragdoll.
The photos are from Nevnariens blog and she´s also Diesel´s owner.

→ All of the things I've been looking for Have always been here outside of my door

Hiya darlings!

I told you yesterday I was thinking about going to the movies to watch In Time at the movies tonight. That´s not gonna happen. Something else came up. Besides, I have Footloose available so I might watch that instead - y´all know I loved it! =)

Tomorrow I´m going home and then Im staying home until Tuesday, since then it´s 6 December > Finland´s Independance Day, which means schools, supermarkets etc are closed. We also have Monday free.

Speaking of December. It´s 1 December today, 1 December. Where the hell is the snow and the cold?! Last Winter was so great! Yes, I admit, it wasn´t that fun all the time but... Snow and -20*C (or below), isn´t that

Look what Angie posted on FB for me =) It´s the Swedish TV spot for Westlife´s Greatest Hits album. You can watch it below :)

Although, don´t you find it weird that My Love is playing when they´re showing the MV for Flying Without Wings? *lol* Fun fact. The cover looks gorgeous, don´t you think? Can´t believe it´s the final WL album ever... I wonder, is it gonna feel weird next autumn, when we don´t have another album to wait for?

The album better be waiting at home for me. I pre-ordered it ages ago, the deluxe version of course, and it really should´ve come by now.

Now I´m gonna make some dinner for myself. It´s gonna be delicious - if I don´t screw it up! *hehe*

Talk to you soon babes!

→ Now the crowd is wild it's such a mess

Hiya peeps!

Hope you are well! I´m good, I´ve decorated my flat for Christmas now. Maybe there´re some stuff left to get here, but... The Christmas feeling is coming. If only the snow would arrive as well. Seriously, it´s depressing.

One of my favourite Christmas songs ever

Tomorrow I´m thinking about going to the movies to watch In Time. (Nooo not only because JT is in it!) I´m probably going alone, since no one seemed too keen about seeing the movie. Ah well, they´re missing out... *LOL*

Now I´ll watch the latest episode of Glee.

Talk to you soon!

→ That warm Christmas ambience is still intact though

Kära Vinter (Eng. Dear Winter)

Listen to this gorgeous song with my fave Månseli! He´s appearently releasing a 2nd Christmas album this year.
I found out, like, a few days ago when I found this song! What´s going on?!
Usually, I´m always aware of everything Månseli is doing...! However, for the past month, I guess my head´s been filled with Westlife - understandably... Anyways, I love love love the new song from my Månseli, it´s gorgeous!
So now I have atleast one thing I´ll buy in Stockholm.

Speaking of Stockholm... I still have to decide if I will fly one way or if I´ll take the ferry roundtrip. The easiest way would be to take the ferry roundtrip, but that takes a lot longer + I´d have to come down to Turku, one way or another... On the other hand, I´m freaking out (a bit) about flying to Stockholm alone. I´d probably be so nervous that I´d miss to read signs and end up in the completly wrong part of the airport. Arlanda, that´s the airport in Stockholm, is huuuge.

Aaah, I don´t know what to do. I´ll get back to you on that!

Take a look at this short video clip with Adam Lambert. He speaks Finnish =)
His boyfriend is Finnish, if you´d missed that! Sauli Koskinen, he won the Finnish Big Brother in 2007... It´s huge here!
I also think it´s great that a superstar like Adam Lambert has a bf from Finland, since most of the time they seem to be Swedish. But not this time!
