BOLD BLEND
Måns Zelmerlöw both sings and plays well in his role as Romeo, while Lisette Pagler, like Julia, is a safe musical artist. The set is an unusually bold blendwhere Shakespeare meets Metallica and rock mixed with disco, writes Aftonbladet´s Jens Peterson.

Måns excels in blazing show

  FOR ROMEO AND JULIET

How crazy can it get?
Shakespeare meets Metallica. Schlager-Mans is convincing as the passionate lovers of the world's most famous love story.
The musical flashes as a New Year's fireworks.
Sometimes it will be for fun. But first of all pleasures.
For you will be glad of this set. History är Shakespeares tragedy from the 1590s, but when it's time for song number, it is a bold mix of rock, disco, evergreens and pop.
It makes me happy dance numbers, which oscillate between phenomenal and briljanta. Jennie Widegren and Frederick Rydman from Bounce has the agile and acrobatic choreography.

Sings excellent
You will be glad to set design. Here's a forest that grows well in the salon and draperies and other used innovative and playful.
You will be glad of the actors. Måns Zelmerlöw singing of course excellent, but he works too well in game scenes. Although the heavy second act and the final, where it comes to getting the pain and sorrow will be heard in silence.
Lisette Pagler is Julia and got the part through the controversial audition series of SVT. She is a confident musical performer who can handle her lead role very well.

Veterans deliver
And talented veterans. Ace of Loa Falkman Marianne Morck and is very good, and when Falkman kicks it in Tom Jones classics "Help Yourself" in Swedish, it is pure luck.
But he who steals scene after scene is Anton Lundqvist, who plays Romeo's friend Mercutio. A skilled comedian who is also a song-and-dancer, and at times dominates the first act.
He and Marianne Morck is the comedic elements.
And Geez what they are comical.
It's as if director Morgan Alling is a little afraid of the seriousness of "Romeo and Juliet". In the first act there are many scenes where there must be kidding. Songs that keep the action rather than to pursue it further.
Well, fun composition picked up by Mercutio in Kiss "I was made for lovin'you" - but it does not add any document.
Mercutio long poem about the dream Queen Mab is from Shakespeare.
Reply, "talk about maximum oflyt" is perhaps more translator Calle Norlén.

As it should be
Here's inspired track selection, as the Beach Boys' Good only knows "a groovy love duet.
All Shakespeare-sets which can get the riff from the White Stripes' Seven Nation Army "is worthy of applause.
Finally is the love story tragic and painful as it should be. On the way there has been a very entertaining song and dance show.
