Today has been a calm day. The most exciting (and nervwracking!) thing I did today was watching the ice hockey game.
Finland vs Russia
DIt was veeery exciting at first, it looked very bad for the Lionss part. But it ended well!

Since it´s now after midnight here, it´s Tuesday and it means that TODAY the first semi final in Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf, Germany will take place.
You all know I´m a ESC geek and I follow the contests with passion!
Finland - among others - is competing in semi 1 and below I´ve collected the songs that I like the most. I´ve also rated them. 0-5, 5 being the best.
Switzerland

I love this song! It´s probably my favourite of the favourites! It´s so cheerful and cute and I get a "I do" (Colbie Caillat)-vide. The singer is awesome and the song is even more awesome!
I just hope the rest of Europe will see the same things I see in this amazing song!
Norway

I know people saying this is a straight copy of Shakira´s "Waka Waka" but I don´t get that. The only connection I can see between the Norwegian entry and Shakira´s song is the happiness one get from it. I really hope it will qualify!
Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan has had awesome songs for the past years in the contest, but this doesn´t really add up to them. The song is great, and the duo is great together (even if they seem a bit odd for each other).
Russia

All right, I don´t know why this is even a favourite, because this lad singing (Alex) have been trashing one of my ultimate faves from semi 2 (guess who?!) accusing him of plagiarism and all kinds of shite.
But despite that, the song is kinda good but it doesn´t lift and... It gets boring.

All right, my home country´s entry!
I have to admit, when I first heard this, I was sceptical. Most because of the troubadour-feeling I got and that it initially sounded rather dull and flat. But, then whenpeople started to listen to the song and text, was it good. The artist Paradise Oskar also has written it all by myself, is a plus!
Sooo... What did you think? Do you share my opinion or do you totally disagree with me?
