Today it´s one month left till Christmas Eve. One Month! Have you got some Christmas spirit yet? I haven´t. It doesn´t help either, that all the supermarkets and shops have Christmas stuff put out or that the Christmas decorations in the city are up. I just don´t feel it. But this incoming weekend it´s Pikku Joulu here in Finland and then one´s supposed to put up Christmas decorations etc at home.
I don´t have any Christmas decorations and such for the Vaasa flat, maybe I should get something to hang in the window and such. We´ll see.
The movie was awesome! So brilliant! The ending was a huuuge WTF?! moment, like I had suspected for a very long time.
There were lots of amazing scenes in the movie, like everything including my Jacob *wink wink*There was this scene with the wolf-pack, oh jaysus it was so intense! And the wedding scene was a big awh-moment. I loved Bella´s wedding dress, it was gorgeous.
I´m sitting with my cup of coffee *need it for the bikeride into town hihi* and listening to the soundtrack for Breaking Dawn Pt I. It´s the first time I´m listening to it *even if I´ve tried several times before to find it on Spotify ;)* and I reckon it´s the best soundtrack. There are some awesome songs on there!
I will soon turn off the extra lights and cuddle down in bed with a book. Book 3 in The Mortal Instrumentsseries, called City of Glass. It´s awesome!
I don´t know if it´s my imagination, but´s my flat is really cold, like freezing! My feet feel like ice cubes! Ice cubes!
It seems like Ammi will be joining us tomorrow as well. Fun fun fun! Hopefully we don´t bore Susa with our Westlife talk, since I bet the subject will come up *wink wink*
;-)
By the way, I hope you´ve noticed I´ve changed the design a bit here in the blog; background image, colours and fonts. I wanted to make it more winter-like, since it´s late November. Soon it will be Christmas *woop woop*
I will go to the supermarket, I have to fill up my fridge *hihi* and I also need to buy some stuff for a birthday present I´m making. Maybe I´ll find something more to add to the present, we´ll see.
Tomorrow it´s finally time for me to go see Breaking Dawn Pt I at the movies. I´m going tomorrow with Susanna, we´ll take the late show -> movie starts at 8.30pm. Before that we´re going to dinner somewhere, location is still to be decided. We´ll meet up in town at 5pm.
Today we´ll be celebrating Susannaon her 23rd birthday!
=D
Ya gettin old babes!
And in true Peaches-style, I´ve made her a B´day MV =)
Note that you can watch the other 2 B´day MVs I´ve made for her during the past years, I´ve posted them as video replies to this video, if you watch it on Youtube. Personally, I think this year´s MV is the best *hihi*
Yes, I admit, this MV has a bit of a theme that runs through the whole of it but... Well, due to the past month´s events, I think you can bare with me + I happen to know that the song used in the actual MV is a personal favourite of the B´day girl´s =)
I also can tell you that the same, hmm, theme was included in several b´day presents when Miss S celebrated her 20th birthday in 2008.
I found out today, through Yvonne´s FB page, that the opening act for Croke Park. You probably have figured it out already ;) Still, I´ll tell you... The Wanted and Jedward =) I already knew the first act but I did not expect to see Jedward =) Honestly, I don´t know what I think of them, hihi. Sure they were one of my favourites in the ESC but they can be... too much sometimes, don´t you think? And I dearly hope the 2 lads will speak with their real accent =D If they talk with that horrendous American accent I don´t know what I´ll do *hehe*
OnWednesdaythepremiereofBreaking DawnPt1, the fourthfilm in theTwilightsaga. On Fridayit premieres here in Vaasa. Ido not really knowyetif I'll try to get a ticket tothe premiere, even if it tends to betraditionthat one shouldgo to thepremiere... It´s all just a blur.
I sort of had the idea that I would go with A but then she didn´t have money and had to wait until the 20th.
But now, all of a sudden, she has bought her ticket for the premiere *bummer* and everything is just a blur when it comes to S. Wouldn´t surprise me if she has bought a ticket also for the premier - without telling me. That would be so typical. If nothing comes up, I´ll buy a ticket for Sunday.
I founda notein the mailbox today, which saidthat the orderfromKelttiKoruthave cometo the post, so itwill be retrievedtomorrow.
This is what I bought from KelttiKorut. I have a feeling I will buy more from the site before the year´s over, but they have so many gorgeous stuff! *lol*
I will premiere-wear them on 18 December =)
In addition, I will shop a bit, for I will tryanddoDumlecookiestomorrow. I found the recipe in FruEmpe´s blog(jaah, still readher blog) andtheylooked sodelicious, didn´t seem that hard to do either.
How was your weekend? Mine was good. On Sunday I felt, like.... blaah and didn´t feel like doing anything but I got my arse out of bed eventually.
Okay, so mam forced me.
Anyways, you might have figured out that I have a certain agenda with this post, due to the title.
I might have mentioned this to some of you, but I can mention it again: I´m seriously considering getting a tattoo. It seems more and more people are getting them these days. I have imagined something in my head
This is what I´m imagining. The lyrics (you know from what song it is, riight?) I´ve taken the photos from kelttikorut.com and all 3 symbols ar Irish Celtic. Considering the lyrics, they may be too long so in that case I´d shorten it to the first 2 lines; 'You´ll find it in the deepest friendship The kind you cherish all your life' but also there´s another part of the song, with two lines that I could also consider; 'You'll find it in the words of others A simple line can make you laugh or cry' or 'You've got to fight for every dream'.
You know the song, you know its lyrics. I´d tattoo in the whole song but I don´t think I have the guts *hihi*
Still, tell me what you think. Could I pull it off?
I´m posting these 2 MVs simply because I miss my fave lads... I´ll see one of them again soon but the other 3 lads, God knows when I´ll see them again *sob*
Since I loved this week´s episode of Glee so, so much... And I know a lot of other people did as well, I simply had to post this. And yes, I felt exactly the same. Especially all the Klaine scenes, which the clip below is all about. The First Time was the best episode of Glee in a long time - and not just because of Klaine and the fact that they´re a supercute couple, we´re talking mayorAaawh moment there... Yes, I admit! I adore them! And as I recently posted, I adore Blaine aka Darren Criss.
The songs were awesome, especially The Warblers´ awesome performance with Uptown Girl.
Speaking of the Klaine scenes, which I personally adore because I love them together and I support them to 100%. And I´m so glad that Glee is so open-minded that they created such roles as Kurt and Blaine. But the whole idea with Glee is, after all, that the show is about high school kids that are outkast in one way or another - and the Glee club unite them because it´s a common interest for them. Atleast I think so.
Last night I took the bike to Susanna´s flat. I didn´t get lost, I found it without any mistakes. It was easier with the bike, would I´ve taken the car, it might have been a bit more difficult and I could´ve easily driven by a crossing... Anyways...
It wasicycoldandveryfoggy. The wholeVaasafelt likea scene froma scaryhorrormovie. WhenI rolledback homearound10o'clock,it wasevencolderthanwhen Iarrived.I forgot tocheckhow longit took toride home, butit did not taketoo long. But I wasbreathlesswhen Igot home, because it's ahelluvalong hillyou have tobehavewhenyou get toPalosaari.
Inallcases,it wasnice to meetSusaagain. We talked abouta lot, includingmyStockholmtripin December.Maybe, maybeSusa willwith me.Wecouldalsowatcha littleTV andmunchgoodcoffee and goodies.
I also hadwith measo-calledhousewarming gift(or whatever youcall it) toSusa. I know she´s been living in the new flat for a long time but... yeah. It wasametalheart thatone canhangin the windowandit also has acuptoa candle. It's verynice, ithasthis kind ofold-fashionedromanticfeeling,maybe Ishould getits ownfor myselftoo!;-)
This photo below, I took one night in October. It was a full moon, as you can see. I decided to post it here as it sums up the feeling Vaasa had last night.
Okay, last night I heard some awesome news! They´ve started to announce the names of the performing artists in the Swedish ESC next year and one of them is this lad...
Mattias Andréasson
Also known as the M of E.M.D. =D
He´s probably gonna perform with an own-written song called Förlåt Mig (eng. Forgive Me). It sounds like a balla, don´t you think? It can be an up-tempo song as well, I don´t know. Nevertheless, it´s gonna be awesome! =)
Speaking of Matte... He´s joined Facebook now. Like, he´s got an official fanpage :) About time, I´ve heard nothing from him in months!
Today I listened to... *dum dum dum* ... Christmas music! =D Does it seem too early for you lot? Maybe it is, but the supermarkets and various shops have already taken out decorations and candy etc so... Why not being able to play some Christmas music? I played E.M.D.´s Christmas CD from 2009 *vautsi, already 2 years ago?*
Look at this, I found it at KelttiKorut! I simply had to click them home ;)

Tomorrow I´m going into town to meet up with Ammi. It´s been a while *oops* so it will be nice to see her again. We´ll pre-buy the tickets for Breaking Dawn for one. Besides that, we´ll chat chat chat and talk about Friday. Uuuh I´m getting nervous just by thinkin about it!
After the meet&greet with Ammi, I´ll continue to Susanna´s. There we have another girl I haven´t seen in a while *woopsie* and we still live in the same city ^^, It´s been a while since I visited her flat so I´m a bit unsure on the directions, but I´ll probably find it.
And then when I come home tomorrow, I´ll watch the latest episode of Glee. It´s gonna be so awesome!
This week´s episodes of both The Vampire Diaries and The Secret Circle will be the last ones for this year =( Holy crap, how will I cope waiting ´til 2012 for new episodes!
These episodes this week will be some sort of mid-season finales. So of course the ending will be all, like, horrible and I´ll sit there with my chin dropped to the floor... Seriously I can´t stand the wait!
I´m hoping for a huugeDelena-moment! Like... Ep 8 in season 2, only muuch greater than that!
I made a home-made CD today. It turned out awesome! =D Totally proud! I´m listening to it right now.
The other night I watched a movie, Chalet Girl. Starring Felicity Jones, Sophia Bush, Brooke Shields, Bill Nighy and Ed Westwick. It was a cute movie, the typical RomCom stuff.
Watch it if you like movies like that!
Ed was - sadly - talking with an American accent but sometimes the lovely British shone through *yay*!
I´ve found a possible warm-up act for Croke Park. Not that it will happen but nevertheless... A girl can dream, can´t she?
Take a look at this amazing performance with The Warblers from Glee.
It´s one of the performances in this week´s episode of Glee and I´m positive it´s gonna be an hour of ooh!´s and aawh!´s. Atleast the promo told me so.
I don´t know if I´ve mentioned this, but I´m fallen head over heals for Blaine a.k.a Darren Criss. He´s simlpy so gorgeous and hot damn he can sing! And he´s half-Irish! Like, OMG!
Also, I´ve come to adoreKlaine(Kurt+Blaine), they´re so cute together!
Now following, a "picture bomb" with my crush.
All photos are found via Google.
Westlife will play Croke Park on 23 June 2012 - the final gig.
The tickets go on sale next Friday, 11 November.
I´m so going and I hope the girls wanna come with me! Because we wouldn´t want to miss it, right? And... Croke Park! OMG do you peeps understand how great that it! I mean... Croke Park! It´s one of the biggest outdoor arenas in Europe, maybe the world even... It´s a spot in Dublin I woulnd´t want to miss. The first time I were in Dublin, I were in the area where Croke Park is, I even saw a sign where it said Croke Park, which made me smile - in secret. Because that was 2008, a few months after the lads had the anniversary concert there.
Besides, who doesn´t love the lads´ anniversary concert from Croke Park? I love love love the DVD, it´s amazing! I can only imagine what kind of atmosphere it was there that night...
I can´t even start to explain what the atmosphere will be on that day next year. There will be a lot of tears and laughter. I´ll probably cry rivers at some songs...
So, now you know what I´ll be saving up for =) The concert also suits awesome to my other plans to visit the Emerald Isle.
Since tomorrow is All Saints´ Weekend a.k.a. Halloween we´ll go to the graveyard in Närpes in a moment and put candles on graves: dad´s, moffin and momma´s. Maybe someone else´s as well, I don´t know for sure.
Here´s the full MV I mentioned earlier.
I had a bit of a struggle with it at first, but it turned out pretty good.
Let´s just hope the Birthday Girl likes it!
=D
