Last night I ended up running an unnecessary trip to the vet in Malax (about 15 miles south of Vaasa). It's time for my girls to be sterilized.
Mom called yesterday morning and booked time for at half past six. She assumed automatically that it was to Malax we would go, when she had telephoned the number. But not said Nick!
I began to suspect that something was wrong when the clock turned a quarter to seven and no one showed up. So I called the mom and she called in her turn to the vet. Then came the course until he was in a very different reception - in Pörtom (Northern Närpiö). So we got a new time until tonight.

Did any of you on the Academy Awards? I did it. I did not see the whole, I went to bed half past four in the morning (!). I missed the best prices (such as Best Film, Best Male / Female prize) but I could just stay up another hour. I recorded the end instead and watched it later.
